The Leisure Services Department for the Town of Huntsville
provides opportunities for all ages to learn and experience
this very important life skill. The many lakes,
rivers and the indoor aquatic facility at the Huntsville
Centennial Centre are great areas to enjoy your aquatic
activities.
The
Community Services Division for the Town of Huntsville
offers the Canadian Red Cross Swim Preschool & Red Cross Swim Kids programs year
round at the Huntsville Centennial Centre and at the Port
Sydney Community Beach on Mary Lake from July to August.
Our professional, friendly, trained staff will make
your swimming experience an enjoyable learning endeavor.
Huntsville
is fortunate to have many public beaches for families
to enjoy recreational swimming. Families and visitors
frequent the local beaches such as Hutcheson, Avery, Port
Sydney and Long's Lake.
The
aquatic facility at the Huntsville Centennial Centre is
available for rent at reasonable rates, on a one time
basis, weekly, monthly or seasonal opportunities.
