Marriage Licence can ONLY be issued to the couple being married. |

The Marriage
Licence Application form must be fully completed and signed by both applicants and submitted in person by both or one of the applicants with the appropriate documents. |

Both applicants are required to submit 2 pieces of original documentation; either:
- Birth Certificate and photo ID; or
- Passport and one other piece of identification.

| 4. |
Applicants 16 or 17 years of age require parental consent. See Issuer for further details. |

| 5. |
We require your actual street address or lot and concession. |
| |
|
| 6. |
If
you are divorced, we require to see the original
or court certified copy of the "CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE ", from the court you were divorced in. Certified copies are obtained from the Court who granted the divorce. Photocopies are not acceptable. |

| 8. |
If
you are being married in a rural municipality you must indicate on the application the place i.e. Town, Township, County or District where the ceremony will take place. |

| 9. |
If you do not understand or read English, you must provide your own interpreter and he/she must provide identification. |
| |
|
| 10. |
There is no residency or citizenship requirements and blood tests or medical certificates are not required in Ontario. |

Marriage Licence is valid for use anywhere in the Province
of Ontario for a period of three (3) months from date of
issue. |
