Where to purchase garbage bag tags:

  • Any landfill station in Muskoka
  • Huntsville Town Hall
  • Online
  • Beginning March 1, 2023, purchase bag tags at a discounted price when purchased in bulk – five tags for $35. Garbage Bag Tags can be purchased from any transfer station.

Where to purchase green bins:

  • Any landfill station in Muskoka
  • Most local hardware stores

Recycling

As of November 19, 2024, Huntsville’s recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.
