In recognition of the National Day of Mourning — also known as Workers' Day of Mourning — the Town of Huntsville will lower flags to half-mast at all Town facilities from sunrise to sunset on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Observed annually in Canada on April 28, the National Day of Mourning honours those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy.
