Remembrance Day in Huntsville – November 11, 2024

Residents are advised that the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232’s Remembrance Day Parade will take place on Monday, November 11, impacting traffic in downtown Huntsville.

 

Traffic impacts for this event will be as follows:

  • Parade Route will be closed to traffic at 11:45 a.m. for approximately 20 min. with rolling road closures for the parade – Parade Route: Veterans Way (from Brunel to West), West Street South (from Veterans to Main), Main Street East (from West to River), River Street (from Main to Brunel)

Other Important Notes about Remembrance Day in Huntsville:

  • All are invited to attend the Remembrance Day Ceremony hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Huntsville Branch 232, beginning at the Cenotaph at 10:40 a.m. and followed by the parade
  • Huntsville residents and visitors are encouraged to go see the Huntsville Honour Roll at the Canada Summit Centre, which commemorates those who served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War.   • Town Facilities will be open on November 11 with normal hours
