Spring Youth Programs Registration is NOW OPEN!

What if my child does not feel well prior their program or will be away a during a session?

  • Please keep sick children home and contact the Program Coordinator – Youth & Family Services, brydyn.thompson@huntsville.ca or 705-789-6421 ext 3032.

What if my child does not feel well during their program?

  • They will be separated from the group with supervision, and parents will be notified to pick up their child.

If your participant has any allergies or requires any medication while at a youth program, please submit an Allergy and Medication form.

Please note any medications that may need to be given while at a program needs to be in the original medication container and must be prescribed by a doctor.

Disruptive or uncooperative behavior spoils programs for everyone. Each parent and participant must sign a behavior expectation form. Participants who do not live up to expectations may be asked to leave program permanently.

When considering a recreation experience please consider the individual's needs, and that the recreation integrated setting may not be suitable for all persons with disabilities. Health and Safety of participants and staff is paramount, which could result in participants being denied access to the program.

Please note that the Town of Huntsville does not offer 1:1 support for youth programs or campers. Children who require an Educational Assistant at school or 1:1 support for success, are asked to provide their own caregiver at youth programs/camp. Please contact our Community Services Recreation staff for further information, to communicate your child’s needs and/or how to bring a caregiver for your child.

Changes to youth programs may occur. Visit the activity menu for current information including changes or cancellations. You may also contact the Program Coordinator – Youth & Family Services, brydyn.thompson@huntsville.ca or 705-789-6421 ext 3032.
