Volunteer Opportunities

Being a volunteer is a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, earn volunteer hours, build your resume, and pursue interests that expand your expertise. Most of all, your commitment further contributes to the vibrance of our community.  

If you enjoy staying active in a great environment, then volunteering at the Canada Summit Centre and Active Living Centre could be the perfect fit. We offer several volunteering opportunities:

• Ambassador Volunteer welcomes guest to the centre and answers general questions, gives tours and provides directions.
• Programming Volunteer provides programming assistance in a recreation setting. Share a specialize skill, or assist in scheduled program
• Aquatic Volunteer works alongside and under direction of certified Red Cross instructors and are invited to join regular aquatic staff training session (job training to learn first aid, lifeguarding skills and instructional techniques).
